After a killer meal at Paley's Place. I realized Tori Amos was playing the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall across the street from my hotel. I was on my way home for the night when I noticed the throngs of fans in front of the marquee. When I exited the hotel parking I was a block from the Theater so I strolled right in, no ticket no guards, no hassle. I walked up towards the front of the room and found an empty seat. The ethereal natrure of her music was quite soothing and pleasant. Not surprisingly the crowd was mostly women so I decided to hit the Virginia Cafe for a night cap. Got to love a place that you can still light up at.
